Happily Ever After

How amazing was this wedding?! A special thanks to Angie Whitaker photography for having me yet again lol. Janet and Jim have such a sweet story! After experiencing life and having families of their own they found each other. They are registered nurses and met at their work place. One of my favorite parts of the day was before the ceremony the best man had given Jim a personalize love letter from Janet to read. There were so many special moments throughout the day. I was happy to help capture it!

10 Years of Bliss and a Lifetime of Happiness

I had the great experience of shooting along side Angie Whitaker Photography in Los Angeles for Itzel and Joe. The were married at the breath taking Cathedral of the Lady of the Angels. I can't even comprehend the love these two have for one another! They were high school sweethearts going on 10 years before they said their "I do's!". A gorgeous ceremony followed by a stunning reception hall at the Imperial Palace (Pasadena Banquet Hall)  in Pasadena. One of the most lively receptions I have been to as of yet!

Lucky in Love

I had the opportunity to second shoot with Angie Whitaker Photography in San Diego. This was my first Military wedding (Marine Corps). The were married in the San Diego Temple with their reception at the La Jolla Women's Club. "Lucky in Love" was there unique theme! Speaking with Rob he gave us a fun fact, "the color green physically relaxes you and we want our guests to be relaxed". Which is why their color was green with accents of pennies around the reception hall. I was able to witness the sword arch for the first time! It was an amazing experience! Part of the reason I love doing wedding photography, you get to learn so much from others!

Organic Love

Kimberly and Jesse are one of the most sincerest couples I've had the pleasure of working with! I was invited to join in on this stylized shoot with Whimsie Photographie. Kimberly and Jesse had already been married for a few months. It was a great session! Doing couple's sessions are the stress of the wedding day gives the images an entire different feel. There is no rush to get to the reception hall or being "hangry" from not being able to sit down and grab a bite to eat all day. Super fun session and a beautiful couple!

A Swing Romance

I am not sure if it's the fact that I am just a gooey romantic, but I have always wanted to shoot a session on a swing. What better way to do it than on a rustic swing tied to a beautiful tree! Meet Tim and Courtney! They have actually been married for 6 months when we shot this! Their chemistry is ridiculously in sync! The entire time Tim was making Courtney giggle and smile. I tend to always over shoot (which I am totally fine with!), I was grateful for it when I caught Tim pushing Courtney on the swing. He pushed her too much one way and she started to spin, his reaction was priceless and hilarious! So glad I was able to document their blooming love!
